Shipping Containers for Trucking, Logistics and Freight
Truck yard storage, dock overflow, and parts and tire storage for fleets and freight terminals. Delivered nationwide with freight included.
Used 20ft containers run $2,000 to $3,800 delivered, and used 40ft containers run $2,800 to $4,500, with freight included in the ZIP code price. New 1-Trip units run $3,500 to $5,500 for a 20ft and $4,500 to $7,500 for a 40ft. Standard units ship in 5 to 10 business days from the depot nearest your yard. Orders of three or more units go through the bulk desk for volume pricing and phased delivery.
We have sold containers for over 35 years and served more than 70,000 customers, working with everyone from single-terminal fleets to multi-yard logistics operators. We sell rather than rent, so the unit stays at the terminal instead of returning to a hire yard when a lease term ends.
If you are still working out what your yard or dock needs, our commercial buyer's guide covers sizing and configuration by use case in detail.
Why Fleets and Logistics Operators Buy From Us
Delivered Price Includes Freight | 300+ Depot Locations | Volume Pricing on 3+ Units |
Enter a yard or terminal ZIP code and see the all-in delivered price. Pricing reflects the five nearest depots, so the quote returned is the lowest available for that address. | We dispatch from the depot nearest each terminal, which keeps delivery cost down for fleets running yards across several markets. | Three or more units on one purchase order get volume pricing, phased delivery, and multi-address dispatch across terminals. |
Containers for Yards, Terminals, and Dock Overflow
Here are the major configurations that cover most trucking and logistics requirements:
Product | Delivered Price | Yard Use |
20ft Wind and Water Tight | $2,000 to $3,800 | Tire and parts storage for a single terminal |
40ft Wind and Water Tight | $2,800 to $4,500 | Dock overflow and multi-crew yard storage |
40ft High Cube WWT | $2,800 to $4,500 | Racking, tall freight, and cross-dock staging |
20ft New 1-Trip | $3,500 to $5,500 | Yard office base and client-facing placements |
40ft New 1-Trip | $4,500 to $7,500 | Premium dispatch office or driver welfare unit |
Container Office | Quoted | Ready-built yard or dispatch office, fitted before dispatch |
Roll-Up Door Storage Unit | Quoted | Forklift-ready daily access for pallets and freight |
Yard and Terminal Accessories
These five additions cover the standard yard build:
Accessory | Yard Function |
Roll-Up Door | Full-width access for pallets, freight, and forklift entry without cargo door swing clearance |
Shelving Package | Organizes parts, tires, and small-item storage. Confirm current build spec with the bulk desk. |
Office Kit | Core dispatch or yard office fit-out supplied as one package |
Lock Box | Shrouds the padlock so bolt cutters cannot reach the shackle |
Container Vents | Prevents condensation from damaging stored parts and paperwork |
Accessories cannot be added to a financing agreement after an order is placed, so specify the full package at checkout. The complete range is on the container accessories collection.
Configurations by Operation Size
Configuration drives both unit count and order route. One or two units go through standard online checkout. Three or more move to the bulk desk, where volume pricing, phased delivery, and multi-address dispatch apply.
Operation | Units | Configuration | Modifications | Order Route |
Owner-operator or small fleet | 1 | 20ft WWT | Lock box, shelving | Online checkout |
Single terminal, regional carrier | 1 to 2 | 40ft WWT | Roll-up door, lock box | Online checkout |
Multi-dock warehouse or 3PL site | 2 to 4 | 40ft mix plus office | Roll-up doors, office kit | Bulk desk |
Multi-terminal fleet | 3 to 6 | 40ft mix plus office | Shelving, roll-up doors | Bulk desk |
Regional logistics network | 5 to 8 | Standardized 40ft spec | Uniform spec, all yards | Bulk desk |
National carrier or 3PL program | 6 to 10 | 40ft mix plus welfare unit | Office kit, secure store | Bulk desk |
Standardizing Specification Across a Multi-Terminal Fleet
Fleets running several terminals get the most value from a single standardized specification held on file.
One spec across every yard means dispatchers and drivers moving between terminals already know the layout, replacement parts and keys are interchangeable, and reordering is a phone call rather than a fresh configuration exercise.
It also improves the quote. A standardized multi-unit order dispatched from several depots to several terminals is efficient for us to fulfil, and that efficiency comes back in the pricing.
Running more than three active terminals? Call (330) 286-0526 and ask the bulk desk to set up a program specification.
Pricing
All prices include delivery to your ZIP code with no separate freight charge. Pricing reflects the five nearest depot locations, so the quote returned is the lowest available rate for that address. Terminals near a major freight corridor typically price lower than remote yards.
Container | Used Grades | New 1-Trip | Notes |
20ft Standard | $2,000 to $3,800 | $3,500 to $5,500 | WWT (the standard yard storage grade) |
40ft Standard | $2,800 to $4,500 | $4,500 to $7,500 | Best value per square foot for dock overflow |
40ft High Cube | $2,800 to $4,500 | $4,500 to $7,500 | For racking and cross-dock staging |
Used grades cover Multi-Trip, Wind and Water Tight, Cargo Worthy, and AS-IS, with WWT being the standard yard storage specification.
Bulk and Multi-Terminal Ordering
Bulk Order Desk: Three or More Units
Volume pricing rather than per-unit list pricing.
Phased delivery so units arrive as each terminal becomes ready.
Multi-address dispatch from the depot nearest each yard.
Fast reordering with a standardized specification held on file.
A single agreement covering the full order including modifications.
Call (330) 286-0526 and ask for the bulk desk, or email [email protected] with your terminal list and unit count.
Payment, Financing, and Section 179
Four payment routes are available: card or ACH for immediate purchase, Clicklease equipment financing over 12 to 60 months with a 60-second approval and a soft credit pull, Affirm at checkout for shorter terms, and pay-on-delivery for qualifying addresses where the unit is inspected before payment clears.
Containers purchased for business use may qualify as Section 179 depreciable assets. The purchase cost can be deducted in the year of acquisition rather than depreciated across several years. Treatment depends on your business circumstances and should be confirmed with your tax advisor. Full payment terms are on the financing options page.
Modifications ordered with the container are covered by the same financing agreement. The full package should be specified up front rather than added afterwards.
Procurement, Purchase Orders, and Vendor Setup
We supply carriers, freight brokers, warehouse operators, and 3PL companies that purchase through formal procurement. Purchase orders, vendor onboarding documentation, W-9 requests, certificates of insurance, and tax-exempt purchases are handled through the bulk desk rather than standard checkout.
- Purchase Orders: Accepted on qualifying accounts. Contact the bulk desk before raising the PO so the specification and delivered pricing are confirmed first.
- Vendor Setup: We can complete standard vendor onboarding packs and supply a W-9 on request.
- Certificates of Insurance: Available on request where a terminal or client requires one before delivery.
- Tax-exempt Purchases: Supply your exemption certificate at order so the invoice is raised correctly.
- Consolidated Invoicing: Multi-terminal orders can be invoiced as a single document or split by yard.
Bringing procurement into the conversation early avoids the common delay where a specification is agreed, a PO is raised against the wrong figure, and the order has to be reworked. Call (330) 286-0526 before the PO is issued.
Lead Times
Standard containers ship in 5 to 10 business days from order confirmation. Modified units take longer because modification work is completed before the container leaves our facility. If you have a fixed terminal opening date, confirm lead time with us before ordering rather than after.
Order Type | Lead Time | Notes |
Standard container, no modifications | 5 to 10 business days | Dispatched from the depot nearest your yard |
Container with roll-up door or shelving | Longer than standard | Modification completed before dispatch |
Office kit or full fit-out | Longer than standard | Confirm against your terminal opening date at order |
Multi-unit with phased delivery | Scheduled to your program | Units arrive as each terminal becomes ready |
Delivery is by tilt-bed truck. The site needs 12 feet of access width, 60 feet of clear run-out at the drop point, 14 feet of overhead clearance, and firm level ground. Yard congestion and dock scheduling should be coordinated with our dispatch team in advance so the drop does not conflict with active loading operations.
Inspection and Warranty
Containers are inspected before dispatch and at delivery. The condition record is reviewed with you at the point of handover. New 1-Trip units carry a 10-year structural and 10-year no-leak warranty. Used grades carry shorter terms, which are confirmed at the point of order.
Pay-on-delivery is available for qualifying addresses, which means the container is placed and inspected on your site before payment clears. For carriers buying from a supplier for the first time, this removes the risk that the unit delivered does not match the grade ordered. The process is documented on the container inspection process page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer volume pricing on multiple containers for a fleet?
Yes. Orders of three or more units go through the bulk desk, which applies volume pricing across the order rather than per-unit list pricing. Phased delivery and multi-address dispatch across terminals are included. Call (330) 286-0526 with your terminal list and unit count.
Can I pay by purchase order?
Purchase orders are accepted on qualifying accounts. Contact the bulk desk before raising the PO so the specification and delivered pricing are confirmed first, which avoids the PO being raised against a figure that then has to be amended.
Can you supply a W-9 and complete vendor onboarding?
Yes. We can complete standard vendor onboarding documentation and supply a W-9 on request. Certificates of insurance are also available where a terminal or client requires one before delivery.
Do you handle tax-exempt purchases?
Yes. Supply your exemption certificate at the point of order so the invoice is raised correctly from the outset. Amending an invoice after issue is slower than applying the exemption at order.
Can one order be delivered to several different terminals?
Yes. Multi-address dispatch is standard on bulk orders, and each unit is drawn from the depot nearest its destination terminal rather than shipping everything from one origin. Delivery can be phased so units arrive as each yard becomes ready.
Is delivery included in the price?
Yes. Every price shown includes delivery to your ZIP code with no separate freight charge, and pricing reflects the five nearest depots so the figure returned is the lowest available for that address. Full pricing detail is in our 2026 price breakdown.
What is the lead time on a modified container for a yard office?
Longer than the 5 to 10 business days a standard unit takes, because modification work is completed before the container leaves our facility. If you are working to a fixed terminal opening date, call (330) 286-0526 to confirm lead time against that date before ordering.
Can I inspect the container before paying?
Pay-on-delivery is available for qualifying addresses, which places and inspects the unit on your site before payment clears. Every container is also inspected before dispatch and again at delivery, with the record reviewed at handover. See the inspection process page.
What warranty comes with the container?
New 1-Trip units carry a 10-year structural and 10-year no-leak warranty. Used grades carry shorter terms, confirmed at point of order. Warranty terms are grade-specific rather than uniform across the range.
Can accessories be added after the order is placed?
Not to an existing financing agreement. Accessories bought later are a separate transaction outside the original agreement, which is why the full package should be specified at checkout. The range is on the accessories collection.
