Shipping Containers for Agriculture and Farming
Farm and ranch storage for equipment, feed, chemicals, and produce. Delivered nationwide with freight included.
Used 20ft containers run $2,000 to $3,800 delivered, and used 40ft run $2,800 to $4,500, with freight included in the ZIP code price. New 1-Trip units run $3,100 to $5,500 for a 20ft and $4,500 to $7,500 for a 40ft. Standard units ship in 5 to 10 business days from the depot nearest your farm. Orders of three or more units go through the bulk desk for volume pricing and phased delivery.
We have sold containers for over 35 years and served more than 70,000 customers, including independent farmers and ranchers running operations from a few acres to several thousand. We sell rather than rent, so the unit stays on the property permanently instead of returning at the end of a lease term. If you are still working out what your operation needs, our farm storage guide covers sizing by acreage, chemical segregation, and rural delivery access in detail.
Why Farmers and Ranchers Buy From Us
Delivered Price Includes Freight | 300+ Depot Locations | Volume Pricing on 3+ Units |
Enter your farm ZIP code and see the all-in delivered price. Pricing reflects the five nearest depots, so the quote returned is the lowest available for that address. | We dispatch from the depot nearest each property, which keeps delivery cost down for farmers running fields or parcels across a wider rural area. | Three or more units on one purchase order get volume pricing, phased delivery, and multi-address dispatch across parcels. |
Containers for Farm and Ranch Storage
Four configurations cover most farm and ranch requirements: the 20ft WWT for tool and chemical storage, the 40ft WWT for equipment and bulk feed or seed, the 40ft High Cube where taller equipment needs headroom, and a refrigerated container for temperature-sensitive produce or dairy. All prices include delivery to your ZIP code.
Product | Delivered Price | Farm Use |
20ft Wind and Water Tight | $2,000 to $3,600 | Tool and chemical storage for operations under 500 acres |
40ft Wind and Water Tight | $2,800 to $4,500 | Equipment, grain, and feed storage for larger operations |
40ft High Cube WWT | $2,700 to $4,500 | Tall equipment, hay, and bulk seed storage |
20ft New 1-Trip | $3,100 to $5,500 | Clean, dry storage for GPS-guided equipment and electronics |
40ft New 1-Trip | $4,500 to $7,500 | Premium equipment storage or ranch office base |
20ft Refrigerated Container | Quoted | Cold storage for produce, dairy, or seed viability |
Roll-Up Door Storage Unit | Quoted | Wide access for tractors, implements, and bulk loads |
Farm and Ranch Accessories
Five additions cover the standard farm build: vents to prevent condensation on stored feed and seed, a roll-up door for equipment access, a personnel door for daily tool access, a lock box for security, and a shelving package for organizing chemicals and small parts. All are available on the same order and covered by one financing agreement.
Accessory | Farm Function |
Container Vents | Prevents condensation from damaging stored feed, seed, and hay |
Roll-Up Door | Full-width access for tractors, implements, and bulk feed loads |
Shipping Container Door | Personnel entry without opening the main cargo or roll-up door |
Lock Box | Shrouds the padlock so bolt cutters cannot reach the shackle |
Shelving Package | Organizes chemical segregation and small parts storage. Confirm current build spec with the bulk desk. |
Accessories cannot be added to a financing agreement after an order is placed, so specify the full package at checkout. The complete range is on the container accessories collection.
Configurations by Operation Size
Configuration drives both unit count and order route. One or two units go through standard online checkout. Three or more move to the bulk desk, where volume pricing, phased delivery, and multi-address dispatch apply.
Operation | Units | Configuration | Modifications | Order Route |
Small farm, single parcel | 1 | 20ft WWT | Vents, lock box | Online checkout |
Row crop or livestock operation | 1 to 2 | 40ft WWT | Roll-up door, shelving | Online checkout |
Multi-field or multi-parcel farm | 2 to 3 | 40ft mix plus refrigerated | Roll-up door, refrigerated | Bulk desk |
Cooperative or co-op storage program | 3 to 5 | 40ft mix plus office | Shelving, chemical segregation | Bulk desk |
Large row crop or ranch operation | 4 to 8 | Standardized 40ft spec | Uniform spec, all parcels | Bulk desk |
Agribusiness or processor supplier | 5 to 10 | 40ft mix plus refrigerated | Refrigerated, secure storage | Bulk desk |
Standardizing Specification Across Multiple Parcels
Operations running several fields or parcels get the most value from a single standardized specification held on file.
One spec across every parcel means crews and family members moving between fields already know the layout, replacement parts and keys are interchangeable, and reordering is a phone call rather than a fresh configuration exercise.
It also improves the quote. A standardized multi-unit order dispatched from several depots to several parcels is efficient for us to fulfil, and that efficiency comes back in the pricing.
Running more than three active parcels or sites? Call (330) 286-0526 and ask the bulk desk to set up a program specification.
Pricing
All prices include delivery to your ZIP code with no separate freight charge. Pricing reflects the five nearest depot locations, so the quote returned is the lowest available rate for that address. Rural properties well off a depot corridor typically price higher than farms closer to a metro area.
Container | Used Grades | New 1-Trip | Notes |
20ft Standard | $2,000 to $3,800 | $3,500 to $5,500 | WWT is the standard farm storage grade |
40ft Standard | $2,800 to $4,500 | $4,500 to $7,500 | Best value per square foot |
40ft High Cube | $2,800 to $4,500 | $4,500 to $7,500 | Preferred for hay, tall equipment, and bulk seed |
Used grades cover Multi-Trip, Wind and Water Tight, Cargo Worthy, and AS-IS, with WWT being the standard farm storage specification.

Payment, Financing, and Section 179
Four payment routes are available:
- Card or ACH for immediate purchase
- Clicklease equipment financing over 12 to 60 months with a 60-second approval and a soft credit pull
- Affirm at checkout for shorter terms
- Pay-on-delivery for qualifying addresses where the unit is inspected before payment clears
Containers purchased for business or farm use may qualify as Section 179 depreciable assets, allowing the purchase cost to be deducted in the year of acquisition rather than depreciated across several years. Treatment depends on your business circumstances and should be confirmed with your tax advisor or accountant. Full payment terms are on the financing options page.
Modifications ordered with the container are covered by the same financing agreement, which is why the full package should be specified up front rather than added afterwards.
Procurement, Purchase Orders, and Vendor Setup
We supply independent farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses, and cooperatives that purchase through formal procurement or an operating entity. Purchase orders, vendor onboarding documentation, W-9 requests, certificates of insurance, and tax-exempt purchases are handled through the bulk desk rather than standard checkout.
- Purchase Orders: Accepted on qualifying accounts. Contact the bulk desk before raising the PO so the specification and delivered pricing are confirmed first.
- Vendor Setup: We can complete standard vendor onboarding packs and supply a W-9 on request.
- Certificates of Insurance: Available on request where a cooperative or lender requires one before delivery.
- Tax-exempt Purchases: Supply your agricultural exemption certificate at order so the invoice is raised correctly.
- Consolidated Invoicing: Multi-parcel orders can be invoiced as a single document or split by parcel.
Bringing procurement or financing into the conversation early avoids the common delay where a specification is agreed, an order is raised against the wrong figure, and the order has to be reworked. Call (330) 286-0526 before the order is placed.
Lead Times
Standard containers ship in 5 to 10 business days from order confirmation. Modified and refrigerated units take longer because that work is completed before the container leaves our facility. If you are working to a harvest or planting deadline, confirm lead time with us before ordering rather than after.
Order Type | Lead Time | Notes |
Standard container, no modifications | 5 to 10 business days | Dispatched from the depot nearest your farm |
Container with roll-up door or vents | Longer than standard | Modification completed before dispatch |
Refrigerated or shelving fit-out | Longer than standard | Confirm against your harvest date at order |
Multi-unit with phased delivery | Scheduled to your program | Units arrive as each parcel becomes ready |
Delivery is by tilt-bed truck. The site needs 12 feet of access width, 60 feet of clear run-out at the drop point, 14 feet of overhead clearance, and firm level ground. Rural driveways and gravel lanes should be confirmed as truck-rated before scheduling, especially during spring thaw or after heavy rain when unpaved access routes can become impassable.
Inspection and Warranty
Every container is inspected before dispatch and again at delivery, with the condition record reviewed with you at the point of handover. New 1-Trip units carry a 10-year structural and 10-year no-leak warranty. Used grades carry shorter terms, which are confirmed at the point of order.
Pay-on-delivery is available for qualifying addresses, which means the container is placed and inspected on your property before payment clears. For farmers buying from a supplier for the first time, this removes the risk that the unit delivered does not match the grade ordered. The process is documented on the container inspection process page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer volume pricing on multiple containers for a farm or ranch?
Yes. Orders of three or more units go through the bulk desk, which applies volume pricing across the order rather than per-unit list pricing. Phased delivery and multi-address dispatch across parcels are included. Call (330) 286-0526 with your parcel list and unit count.
Can I pay by purchase order?
Purchase orders are accepted on qualifying accounts, including cooperatives and agribusinesses. Contact the bulk desk before raising the PO so the specification and delivered pricing are confirmed first.
Can you supply a W-9 and complete vendor onboarding?
Yes. We can complete standard vendor onboarding documentation and supply a W-9 on request. Certificates of insurance are also available where a lender or cooperative requires one before delivery.
Do you handle agricultural tax-exempt purchases?
Yes. Supply your exemption certificate at the point of order so the invoice is raised correctly from the outset. Amending an invoice after issue is slower than applying the exemption at order.
Can one order be delivered to several different parcels?
Yes. Multi-address dispatch is standard on bulk orders, and each unit is drawn from the depot nearest its destination parcel rather than shipping everything from one origin. Delivery can be phased so units arrive as each field becomes ready.
Is delivery included in the price?
Yes. Every price shown includes delivery to your ZIP code with no separate freight charge, and pricing reflects the five nearest depots so the figure returned is the lowest available for that address. Full pricing detail is in our 2026 price breakdown.
What is the lead time on a refrigerated or modified container?
Longer than the 5 to 10 business days a standard unit takes, because that work is completed before the container leaves our facility. If you are working to a harvest date, call (330) 286-0526 to confirm lead time against that date before ordering.
Can I inspect the container before paying?
Pay-on-delivery is available for qualifying addresses, which places and inspects the unit on your property before payment clears. Every container is also inspected before dispatch and again at delivery, with the record reviewed at handover. See the inspection process page.
What warranty comes with the container?
New 1-Trip units carry a 10-year structural and 10-year no-leak warranty. Used grades carry shorter terms, confirmed at point of order. Warranty terms are grade-specific rather than uniform across the range.
Can accessories be added after the order is placed?
Not to an existing financing agreement. Accessories bought later are a separate transaction outside the original agreement, which is why the full package should be specified at checkout. The range is on the accessories collection.
